Clinical Compliance Renewal Online

ClassGraphic This online course is designed to allow students currently enrolled in, or preparing to enroll in, a clinical course with a means to renew all of the yearly compliance requirements. This is a follow-up course to CNM's HLTH 1001 which is required for nearly all healthcare programs. 
Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a new Compliance Certificate and be able to apply fundamental knowledge of the following as it becomes necessary in the course of normal duties in the clinical environment such as: 
  1. Bloodborne Pathogens
  2. Fire Safety
  3. Hazard Communications
  4. Cultural Sensitivity
  5. HIPAA
  6. Infection Control, and more 
Successful completion requires achieving 80% or higher grade on the online quiz in each of the ten modules. There is no limit to the number of times you can take each quiz.
Please note: This class does not include CPR renewal. If you also need to renew your CPR certification, it is recommended that you enroll in CNM's HLTH 1001 course.

This class will appear under “My Courses” once you login to Brightspace within two business day. If you do not see it in your courses after 2 business days, please contact us. After registering, you will have up to ten (10) business days to complete the course. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of completion by email. Participants who do not log in and/or complete the class within ten business days, will receive either a "No show" or "Incomplete" grade, respectively, on their non-credit transcript and will need to register and pay for the course again.
